As Pynea’s Principal Product Designer and Design Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping a world-class app experience that delights our users.
Company Introduction
For those who dare.
Pynea is building a game-changing social network. We are here for the movers, the shakers, the decision-makers. The innovators, the creators, the collaborators. The super connectors, accelerators and facilitators.
We're in stealth at the moment but more details will be shared with applicants throughout the process under NDA.
Our company culture is collaborative, ambitious, and driven. We believe that the best products are built by teams that work together, challenge each other, and are committed to achieving a common goal. We encourage open communication, transparency, and feedback. We value diversity, inclusivity, and creativity, and believe that every team member has something valuable to contribute.
The Role:
As Pynea’s Principal Product Designer and Design Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping a world-class app experience that delights our users. In this pivotal role, you will be the guiding force behind our entire design strategy, from user experience research (UXR) to final in-app implementation. With substantial room for growth, you will lead, inspire, and mentor the design team, driving innovation and excellence across all stages of the design process. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of design and functionality, overlapping with product management to work closely with engineering in order to deliver a cohesive and user-centric product.

- We believe in “elevating design” to have greater “product responsibility” in relation to engineering and implementation. If you’ve been envious of the power granted to PMs, this role is especially suited for you.
People Leadership:
- Support team and individual growth through coaching, setting performance standards, and career development.
- Contribute to people initiatives including hiring, learning and development, org design, and progression frameworks.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture for designers to do their best work and champion their success.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a happy, inclusive, and productive working culture.
